This Sunday, Indonesia Mengglobal hosted a series of 1-on-1 coffee chat sessions between prospective applicants and students / alumni from top US universities at Pacific Place Jakarta. During each of these 20-minute sessions, they can discuss anything from college selection to college essay drafts. The attendees and mentors we talked to unanimously agreed that this format enabled a more effective and personalized help for prospective applicants. This is a step for us to provide even more tangible help for Indonesian students who aspire to study overseas, in addition to bigger seminar events and strong online presence.
We especially thank our mentors (Togi, Handhika, Derianto, Leonard, Junghans and Deasy) who spared three hours of their time talking almost non-stop to the mentees. Thanks to all attendees for coming as well, and we look forward to seeing you at our next events!
As always, we’d appreciate feedback on our past, current and upcoming events either through comments and email.
