Khairunnisa Semesta

Khairunnisa Mentari Semesta is a PhD candidate in Pharmacology at Duke University. Her research focuses on cellular receptors that dictate (patho)physiological outcomes in human health. In addition, she is pursuing more training in science policy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, magna cum laude with honors, from New York University. In her undergraduate career, she has studied in New York, Abu Dhabi, Buenos Aires, as well as shorter stints in London and Berlin.
