Sari Puspita Dewi

Awarded with the LPDP Scholarship, Sari Puspita Dewi is currently working full time on her PhD in Humanities and Languages at UNSW Sydney. She is also active in the Overseas Indonesian Students Association Alliance (PPI Dunia), and in Keluarga Pelajar Islam Indonesia (KPII) Sydney. She is an Assistant Professor in the English Language at Politeknik Negeri Jakarta and has been a translator since she was a bachelor student. Sari received a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Teacher Training from Universitas Negeri Jakarta, a Cum Laude Judicium in master’s degree in the same field from the same university. Her field research of interest is in English for Specific Purposes, translation studies and ICT. She published her papers in national and international journals and seminars. Additionally, in non-academic life, Sari enjoys singing, playing piano, and storytelling. Her hobby helped her students in winning competitions, such as respective Storytelling and Monologue competitions.
