Nial Djuliarso

Nial Djuliarso is a jazz pianist, composer, educator. He moved back to his hometown, Jakarta, Indonesia, after living in the United States for 20 years. He received his BM from Berklee College of Music (2004), AD from Juilliard School (2006. The first Indonesian to be accepted and graduated from the Jazz Studies program), and MM from New York University (2018). He formed a swing band called Swing Machine. The band has performed at Motion Blue in Jakarta. Aside from that, Nial has performed at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festival.
